Kristin Justus brought her 2016 Subaru WRX to the 2017 SEMA Show and made sure it would be heard as well as seen. Space was tight in this compact vehicle, but that didn’t stop her from installing a serious horn setup. She customized a three-horn Shocker XL Train Horn system, mounted on a bracket cleverly hidden behind the front grille.
This strategic placement not only conceals the horns but also allows maximum forward sound projection. By tapping into her WRX's existing onboard air suspension system, Kristin integrated the train horns seamlessly, creating a stealthy but powerful upgrade.
Now equipped with the unmistakable tone of a locomotive, Kristin’s WRX can easily cut through traffic noise, alerting distracted drivers and commanding attention on the road. What started as a compact show car now delivers an unmistakable message—this WRX may be small, but it’s not to be overlooked.
