This 2023 Ford F-150 features a one-of-a-kind train horn installation, combining artistic customization with powerful performance. The owner began by customizing the 5-Gallon tank from the Stealth Spare Tire Delete Kit, transforming it into a showpiece. With a background in restoring and customizing classic cars, the owner applied those skills to create a truly unique setup.
The air tank was sandblasted, wet-sanded, and coated with high-build primer before receiving a silver base coat with flake. The “HB” HornBlasters logo was masked and airbrushed with a layered design that included blue grape candy over lace, candy blue snakeskin patterns, silver flake, and detailed gold and rose gold leafing. Once completed, it was sealed with a 2K clear coat.
The Stealth Spare Tire Delete bracket was also customized with rose gold automotive paint for a cohesive finish. After curing, the complete kit was assembled and mounted on the truck.
Inside the cab, the F-150 was upgraded with Resonix sound-deadening materials, CDT Audio 6.5" component speakers in the front, and 6.5" coaxials in the rear using custom speaker plates. Factory holes were covered with metal block-off plates to enhance sound isolation. The audio system includes a 5,000-watt subwoofer amp, an 800-watt 4-channel amp for mids and highs, a Glowe Voltage lithium battery, and a copper distribution block powered by 1/0 OFC welding cable.
For sub-bass, the truck features three 12" subwoofers mounted under the rear seat using an LMI Welding 3.5" rear seat lift. The build is finished with KG1 Forged 20" wheels and a front leveling kit.
This F-150 project is the perfect blend of technical expertise, artistic detail, and audio performance—inside and out.
