This is more than most stock factory horns. We highly recommend adding the Electric Horn Wiring Kit if you do not have the necessary thicker gauge wire to use with the included relay. Installing this horn without the relay can lead to trouble with your electrical system down the road if it was not designed to handle an 18A load.

Is it loud enough to be heard on the highway?
Yes. At 123.7 dB it is nearly 17 dB louder than the 107 dB stock horn on your bike. Drivers hear it through closed windows and over the stereo. That is why riders around the world choose the Compact Electric Horn.
Does it need an air tank?
No. The compressor is built into the horn and makes air on demand. One piece, one mounting spot, no tank.
Will it fit my motorcycle?
Yes. It was designed for motorcycles. The whole unit measures 3" x 4.5" x 4.5" and needs a 12-volt feed, nothing else. The same horn bolts to side-by-sides, golf carts, cars and trucks.
Do I need the wiring kit?
Check first. The horn pulls up to 18 amps, so confirm what your stock horn circuit is rated for before you wire it in. If the circuit cannot handle that draw, the Electric Horn Wiring Kit gives the horn its own 10-gauge wire and inline fuse holder. It also comes with a push button, so you can honk the horn from its own button instead of the stock horn circuit if you prefer.
Is it weatherproof?
It is weather-resistant, so rain and dust do not bother it. Do not submerge it or aim a pressure washer at it.
