This is more than most stock factory horns. We highly recommend adding the Electric Horn Wiring Kit if you do not have the necessary thicker gauge wire to use with the included relay. Installing this horn without the relay can lead to trouble with your electrical system down the road if it was not designed to handle an 18A load.

Before you buy
Is it loud enough to be heard on the highway?
Yes. At 123.7 dB it is nearly 17 dB louder than the 107 dB stock horn on your truck. The driver next to you hears it through closed windows and over the stereo.
Does it need an air tank?
No. The compressor is built into the horn and makes air on demand. One piece, one mounting spot, no tank and no air line.
Will it fit my truck?
Yes. The whole unit measures 3" x 4.5" x 4.5", so it needs a spot behind the grille or bumper and a 12-volt feed, nothing else. The same horn works on cars, vans and side-by-sides.
Do I need the wiring kit?
Check first. The horn pulls up to 18 amps, so confirm what your stock horn circuit is rated for before you wire it in. If the circuit cannot handle that draw, the Electric Horn Wiring Kit gives the horn its own 10-gauge wire and inline fuse holder. It also comes with a push button, so you can honk the horn from its own button instead of the stock horn circuit if you prefer.
Is it weatherproof?
It is weather-resistant, so rain and dust do not bother it. Do not submerge it or aim a pressure washer at it.
