Jimmy installed the HornBlasters Outlaw Train Horn. The compact three-bell manifold delivers a true locomotive tone while fitting under the Beetle's body alongside the custom smoke stack.

The Outlaw horn is only 18.5 inches long and 15.5 inches wide. Jimmy used custom brackets tied to the Beetle's frame rails so the horn hides behind the custom stack without eating up cabin space.

The Outlaw needs a capable onboard air system with a 1/2 inch supply line and at least a 150 PSI pressure switch. Jimmy paired his horn with a tank and compressor in the hatch to keep blasts consistent.

Yes. The Outlaw runs on 12 or 24 volt DC, so it works perfectly with the Beetle's 1.9 liter turbo diesel alternator. Proper relays and fusing protect both the horn valve and the vehicle wiring.

Jimmy combined the Outlaw horn with a custom vertical stack and diesel tune. The result is a compact car that looks mild until it unleashes a freight-train blast and a puff of turbo diesel attitude.
