Trying to keep 2019 RAM Tradesman simple and uncomplicated but wanted to "juice up" the horn. Found great unused (must be structural and/or for accessories) bracket already near fuse box and with a couple of new holes and a bit of plastic shaved down all fits great so far. Short wire runs as all very close to the fuse box terminal for power. Wanted to activate with existing horn at the column so just spliced into the horn wire (grey/yellow stripped) under the F42 horn fuse. So far great install and CRAZY loud!! Alex diagram helped a lot...........
This is a great horn for the price! I received it the day after I ordered it!
Stock horns on my 2017 Miata weren’t loud enough to get others attention. This horn echoes and was easy to install with the wiring kit
Instead on my 20 ram 1500 ecodiesel and it's much louder than the stock horns. I have a toggle switch under the dash to turn it off at will, I used the wiring kit and it wasn't to painfully to install I tapped into the stock horn wire for signal and grounded and powered it up and love playing with it.
I have a Scion Xb Gen 2. Wanted a loud horn, but I didn't want to **** my trunk space. I mounted the compressor next to the spare tire and the trumpet under spare pointing to the right. So its great when I am passing some FLasshole who is texting and waking up folks about to step off the sidewalk. Mine is connected to the battery with a switch on the console and a relay under the dash. Great system and lots of fun. My toaster sounds like a tugboat!
