These compressors are impressive. After years of dealing with compressors, it is annoying to hear them fire up and be so loud even though I usually mount mine outside the cabin. This time, it's different. A few minutes ago, I finished installing a pair of these and turned on the ignition to fill up the tank after a day sealing up the tank. These things are quiet. The sound about as loud as a slow air leak from a completely empty tank--just that quiet. I was unable to use the two tank mounts, but ordered them just in case there was room. I ended up bolting them under the spare tire well. The setup does not vibrate the cabin as much as my previous setup. I had some isolators that I was planning to use with the mounts, but did not need them after the initial test fit. The still a lot less of a distraction than before. My exhaust is V8 loud--and for the first time ever, I can't hear these compressors over my exhaust. If you are in the market for quieter compressors, these are it. I highly recommend getting a pair of these 3Qs. The run longer than the 444s I owned, but my setup is now running 200psi of air vice 180psi. 10 stars for a great product. Exceptional engineering.
