Loud *** horns

Install is strait forward as always with horn blasters. The outlaw 127 kit is louder than the factory air horn on my Peter built! This is my 3rd horn blasters kit and will definitely buy a 4th when the time comes!

Very loud and definitely fun! Take your time to install!

Overall I love the horn. It took a while to install but I was being cautious about where I put everything. Mine is on my 1982 Ford Econoline (along with the Dixie Horn). The wiring diagram is pretty simple as long as you have beginners experience or better with wiring something. I was able to mount the horn underneath the van and have the air compressor mounted inside. I wired it with the on/off switch to the factory horn. With it off, just the factory horn blows. With it on, well, it’s LOUD.

How well will this hold up in winter temps arpud 0 -1 degrees? Can the compressor be place in the truck bed wit a cover on it ? Will it still work wit temps like that ?

Hello, Thanks for reaching out to us. Yes, this system will work well under a truck bed cover. As long as you drain the tanks often of moisture, they tend to hold up just well. If they start to have a good bit of water being pushed through them, some of the parts will freeze closed, but once they thaw out they will work as new. Thanks!

Can it be wired to my steering wheel horn or does it require its own special button/switch?

Hello, Yes these could be mounted in a sedan, it might be tight for space but around the engine bay is a great place, I would recommend something smaller like our flatlaws for a easier fit as these outlaws are a bit big for this fitment.

My compressor won’t turn on, I changed the air valve and still nothing. What else could it be?

You could have a bad pressure switch. The air valve just controls the flow of air to the horn itself. You can bypass the pressure switch and connect the compressor itself directly to a battery. The compressor is connected directly to the pressure switch. You will need to disconnect it in order to test directly to the battery.

Will I need to remove my spare tire for this horn I have a keep gladiator rubicon.

You don't need to remove the spare tire for this horn but removing it does make the install much easier. The horn itself is rather bulky, I recommend measuring under the vehicle and referencing the measurements on the product page to ensure it will fit where you want it to.
