Mauricio Denis didn't want to sacrifice truck bed space or modify his bumper when adding a train horn to his 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500. The Conductor's Special 244K Spare Tire Delete Kit solved both problems by mounting the entire system underneath the truck where the factory spare tire used to hang. His truck gained a train horn that delivers authentic railroad volume while keeping everything hidden from view and maintaining his Silverado's clean appearance.
The complete kit arrived with Shocker XL train horns, a heavy-duty spare tire delete bracket made from 14-gauge steel with two-stage powdercoat, a 2-gallon 6-port air tank, 1NM Stealth Black compressor, pressure switch with relay, and all the mounting hardware and air lines needed for installation. Mauricio assembled the components onto the bracket and bolted the system into the factory spare tire location. The setup puts four bells underneath the truck ready to blast out train horn sound whenever he hits the button.
The air system operates automatically with the 1NM compressor maintaining pressure between 110-150 PSI. The 2-gallon tank delivers 3-5 seconds of continuous honk time, and the compressor refills the system in about 50 seconds. With a 100% duty cycle at 100 PSI, the compressor handles repeated honking without needing cool-down time. The 6-port tank also gives Mauricio the option to use the air system for filling tires or running small air tools when he needs it.
