Super easy! Installed it behind front bumper. Used same wires from OEM horn.
Worked as expected. Great horn.
It was great that you can review the sound of each horn to get the tone you are looking for. We wanted an air-horn for the restoration of a 1968 Maxim Aerial Ladder with a convertible front cab. The unit was easy to install and was integrated with the original horn relay. And, most importantly, it sounded just like the originally installed horn.
I previously had the outlaw horns on my 94 Jeep Wrangler YJ. Over the years due to rock crawling, trails, bad placement on my end and other elements the horns got banged up and needed to be replaced. I love that the Safety horn is a single horn that is a lot more efficient to mount. the fact that 150PSI from my 2.5 gal air tank blasts through the single horn makes it insanely loud. This horn sounds just like a firetruck but a lot louder. Im very satisfied.
